Position: WSP Archaeology Technician I for 2026
Join WSP as an Archaeology Field Technician I this Spring 2026, working in Ontario. This seasonal role involves critical fieldwork for assessments and mitigations, supporting archaeological projects.

As part of WSP's team, you will carry out archaeological duties from locations like Whitby and London. Under the mentorship of experienced Field Supervisors, your role will include conducting surveys and maintaining safety standards during fieldwork. This position is ideal for those eager to contribute to archaeological efforts across varying environmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with archaeological fieldwork including surveys

• Support supervisors and fellow field technicians

• Participate actively in field activities as necessary

• Maintain ethical conduct and safety compliance

• Adapt to outdoor work in challenging weather

Requirements:

• Strong team collaboration skills

• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs

• Effective communication abilities

• Must hold a valid Ontario driver's license

• One season of archaeological experience is a plus
