• Takes guests’ orders for food and drinks over the counter, in a quick serve style outlet and ensures accuracy.
• Handles payments through the company’s point of sale equipment adhering to the company policies.
• Handles packaging of all take-out orders.
• Maintains a high level or customer service in the food and beverage areas.
• Maintains current knowledge of products, events and promotions and general information relating to the Food and Beverage department, general gaming floor and property.
• Constantly monitors the cleanliness and aesthetics of the cafe/dining areas and takes action where required, including assisting patrons with menu items.
• Works collaboratively with team members to maintain the cleanliness of café/dining areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• 1 year experience in a food and beverage and or customer service position
• Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register
• Smart Serve Certificate
• Fast food or quick serve experience is an asset
• The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
• Proven high level of Customer Service
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills including ability to be friendly, polite and patient
• Ability to deal with demanding clientele in a professional manner
• Ability to multi‑task, organize workload and work under pressure
• Ability to handle money and POS systems
