Assistant Manager – Retail

PD Murphy Jewellers is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong sales experience to oversee store performance, customer service, inventory control, and scheduling. The role requires a strong team leader who can drive results and maintain a welcoming environment for clients.

• Manage day‑to‑day store performance and ensure high standards of customer service.
• Control inventory levels, process stock adjustments, and coordinate stock takes.
• Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Lead and motivate the team, fostering a collaborative and positive workplace.
• Analyze sales trends and provide insights to improve profitability.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

• Secondary school education (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of retail management experience (preferred).
• Strong sales record and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer use and inventory systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
