Cashier (Part-Time)

• Ensures a high level of customer service at the checkouts
• Accurately records customer transactions in electronic cash registers, mainline and self‑checkouts (SCOs)
• Replenishes merchandise around the checkout area
• Ensures health and safety policies and guidelines are followed
• Maintains a clean and organized checkout work area
• Follows loss‑prevention best practices
• Ensures compliance when selling tobacco and lottery products

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A typical full‑time schedule consists of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with 35–40 hours per week.
A typical part‑time schedule is a mix of days, evenings, and weekends, up to 24 hours per week.

Stand and/or walk, bend, twist, and squat. Lift or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs). Perform tasks that require firm grasping and repetitive hand motions. Reach above shoulder height and below waist level. Operate equipment, including a ladder.

• Hourly rate: $17.60
• Annual bonus:
  Store Bonus Plan, 3% of earnings based on store performance
