Retail Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager – Owen Sound

We’re hiring leaders for Best Buy’s newest store in Owen Sound. The positions are available immediately.

Responsibilities: You will oversee all aspects of the store, lead the team, partner with all areas of the business and vendors, and maintain the store’s KPI and profit & loss.

• Lead, coach and develop staff to create an inclusive, fun and safe work environment.
• Ensure store KPIs are met and profit and loss targets are achieved.
• Engage the floor to increase employee engagement and customer experience.
• Travel to other store locations for training during the first two months.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a retail store manager.
• 5+ years of leading a large retail team and managing operational expenses and revenue.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals in a high‑sales volume store.
• Ability to lead by example on the floor to increase engagement, experience, and revenue.
• Ability to create an inclusive, fun and safe work environment.
• Will travel to other store locations for training during the first two months.

Responsibilities: You will lead and coach a team of sales advisors and work together to create an amazing customer experience. You will also support a healthy work environment, store KPIs and profit & loss.

• Coach and develop a retail team of at least 20 associates.
• Support the manager in achieving store KPIs and profit & loss.
• Travel to other store locations for training during the first two months.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience leading a retail team of at least 20 associates.
• 2+ years of experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to create an inclusive, fun and safe work environment.
• Will travel to other store locations for training during the first two months.

Annualized Compensation Range: $52,000.00 – $66,000.00. This position is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range.
