Reporting to the Manager of Georgian Stores, the position involves front-line customer service, processing transactions, and shelving books. You will assist customers with inquiries, as well as merchandising and fulfilling online orders. This role is vital for maintaining a welcoming and organized environment in the campus bookstore.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process sales, refunds, and exchanges via POS
• Assist customers with inquiries in-person, by email, and phone
• Shelve books and merchandise in correct order
• Help with online fulfillment, including pick and pack
• Participate in campus events such as Convocation and Orientation
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma completion
• Six months’ retail experience with customer service
• Familiarity with POS systems and merchandising
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Availability for non-traditional hours, including evenings
