Lead sales performance and customer experience at Michaels in Barrie, Ontario, using retail leadership and customer-focused coaching every day.
The Sales Manager oversees front-end and service operations while supporting sales and service KPIs. You will assist the Store Manager with SOPs, Company programs, policies, and standards. The position also develops team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building across assigned departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Champion a high-performing selling culture across the store
- Coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors
- Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership
- Oversee Balloons, birthday parties, and in-store events
- Coordinate BOPIS and Same Day Delivery fulfillment
- Three or more years of retail leadership experience
- Ability to remain standing and move throughout the store
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools
- Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings
