Build retail customer service skills at Walmart Canada as a full time Bakery Associate serving shoppers in Thunder Bay.
Working from the Walmart Supercenter at 1020 Dawson Road, you will support bakery sales and daily department readiness. The position includes assisting customers, stocking goods, maintaining displays, and preparing baked merchandise. Accuracy with pricing, labels, food handling, and product rotation remains essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exemplary customer service in the bakery department
- Assist with stocking and selling bakery goods
- Follow ordering, clearance, markup, markdown, and pricing procedures
- Prepare bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls accurately
- Keep displays secured in a safe, proper manner
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Adhere to Walmart basic beliefs and values
- Follow thawing and baking guidelines carefully
- Maintain sanitation and cleaning standards
- Follow sell-by and expiration-date procedures
Develop retail experience through customer assistance, bakery sales, merchandise preparation, and department maintenance at Walmart Canada.
