Our client, a leading innovator in industrial and geotechnical solutions, is seeking a Technical Sales & Business Development Representative to join their team in Barrie, Ontario. Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility for travel

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting for new business opportunities.
  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored technical solutions that align with project requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations, proposals, and quotations to showcase product value.
  • Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to ensure successful project execution and product promotion.
  • Attend industry events, webinars, and trade shows to represent the company and expand market reach.
  • Manage RFP/RFI responses and negotiate contract terms to secure favorable agreements.
  • Stay current on product specifications, industry trends, and competitive intelligence.

What We’re Looking For

  • College diploma or university degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical or construction sales, preferably with exposure to utilities or electrical substations.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (local and international) and hold a valid Ontario driver’s license.
