We are looking for an Account Executive to join Broker Link and work out of our Midland office in our Central Ontario region on a Permanent FT Basis.

Sell commercial insurance policiesDevelop and maintain a prospect listBuild and maintain excellent customer relationships, including visiting customer sitesKeep abreast of market knowledge, products, and pricing issues and opportunitiesPrepare proposals, and arrange for account placement with the insurance carriersGather and document relevant information to ensure the customer receives the appropriate coverage's and serviceMaintain good quality in the book of business by adhering to underwriting rules and good business practicesArrange payment terms for new business sales and the timely collection of paymentsSupport customers with the claims processTravel in and out of townThe Successful candidate will have:

Post-secondary education or equivalentExcellent customer service and sales skillsExcellent communication; capacity to coach support staffAble to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and deadlinesAble to work both individually/entrepreneurial, as well as in a team environmentExcellent organizational and time management skills; multi-tasking5-7+ years Industry, sales and customer service experienceCommitment to continual learning: CIP, CAIB designation or working towards completion
