Garda World is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Security Guard for a temporary full-time position at a remote site in Dorset, Ontario
. This role focuses primarily on access control, surveillance, and securing multiple buildings.

This role is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities for Security Guard in Dorset

Control and monitor access to the site and buildings

Lock and unlock multiple buildings according to schedules and procedures

Monitor surveillance systems and perform regular site checks

Conduct routine patrols to ensure site safety and security

Identify and report suspicious activity or safety concerns

Complete accurate logs and incident reports

Communicate effectively with supervisors and emergency services as required

Enforce site policies and security protocols at all times

Qualifications for Security Guard in Dorset

Be authorized to work in Canada

Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (required)

First Aid certification (required)

Comfortable working independently at a remote site

Strong observation, communication, and time-management skills

Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods

Reliable transportation required due to remote location
