Garda World is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Security Guard for a temporary full-time position at a remote site in Dorset, Ontario. This role focuses primarily on access control, surveillance, and securing multiple buildings.

This role is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities for Security Guard in Dorset

• Control and monitor access to the site and buildings
• Lock and unlock multiple buildings according to schedules and procedures
• Monitor surveillance systems and perform regular site checks
• Conduct routine patrols to ensure site safety and security
• Identify and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
• Complete accurate logs and incident reports
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and emergency services as required
• Enforce site policies and security protocols at all times

Qualifications for Security Guard in Dorset

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (required)
• First Aid certification (required)
• Comfortable working independently at a remote site
• Strong observation, communication, and time-management skills
• Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods
• Reliable transportation required due to remote location
