Position Overview

Are you ready to advance your security career? We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Gate Guard for one of Canada’s largest automotive manufacturing facilities. The role involves managing site access, maintaining safety, and being the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

Location:

4700 Industrial Parkway, Alliston
• Pay Rate: $18.50
• Shift Time:
Days or nights, full time

• Control all incoming and outgoing traffic for the plant
• Monitor security access, fire, and environmental systems
• Conduct s, vehicle/trailer inspections, and visitor logging
• Respond to alarms and coordinate emergency responses
• Maintain accurate documentation of all incidents and emergency activities
• Manage emergency contact lists and access logs
• Support site investigations using Lenel and Avigilon systems
• Perform standard Security Guard duties and assist with administrative tasks
• Basic computer skills and radio communication

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Reliable transportation to and from the site
