As a Security Officer, you'll play a key role in patient care at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare. Your responsibilities will include monitoring safety conditions, managing patrols, and assisting with incident investigations. This position demands excellent observational and communication skills as you interact with staff and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform regular foot patrols inside and outside the hospital
• Escort staff during shift changes and night operations
• Document incidents and maintain safety logs
• Assist nursing staff with patient restraints when needed
• Respond to security issues like broken gates and unlocked doors
Requirements:
• Completion of law and security program or police training
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License required
• Recent experience in a security capacity
• CPR certification valid and up to date
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
