Join Garda World as a Security Guard in Barrie, Ontario and contribute to public safety. This position requires skilled situational awareness while engaging in important security duties at a busy site.
As a Tactical Security Guard, you will be tasked with ensuring safety and order in a high-traffic area. Ideal candidates are confident and disciplined, with experience in de-escalation and access management. You will maintain a secure environment, helping to manage public interactions while upholding a welcoming atmosphere for all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol and monitor sensitive areas for unusual activities
• Control access through identity verification
• Quickly respond to security threats or incidents
• Check and maintain alarm systems and cameras
• Document incidents and measures taken
Requirements:
• Must be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification is mandatory
• Capability to stand and walk for entire shifts
