We are currently seeking a Full-Time Security Guard for a Data Centre in Barrie. This role will see you patrolling, providing access control, monitoring CCTV and investigating alarms.

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour following training and successful approval of Secret Clearance certificate (costs covered by Garda World)

Schedule: Full Time continental rotation with two weeks days then two weeks nights (Week #1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday / Week #2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday). Shifts are  on days,  on nights.

Applicants MUST be able to work the full schedule in order to be selected.

To qualify to be hired for this position, you MUST have lived in Canada for 10 years consistently and be able to pass Secret Clearance Status with the Government.

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent focus ability
• Strong proficiency with technology
