Part-Time Security Officer at MAHC

Become a vital part of Muskoka Algonquin Health Care as a Part-Time Security Officer. This multi-site role focuses on safeguarding staff, patients, and visitors at both HDMH and SMMH.

As a key member of the patient care team, you will ensure safety and security within the hospital environment. Your responsibilities will include responding to trauma calls, conducting patrols, monitoring safety hazards, and maintaining incident reports. In this part-time position, flexibility is essential as shifts may include days, evenings, and weekends across locations in Bracebridge and Huntsville.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to all trauma calls promptly

• Patrol parking lots and hospital premises

• Report and rectify safety hazards

• Conduct internal and external investigations

• Assist nursing staff with patient restraints

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Community College Law and Security Program

• Current Security Guard license and CPR certification

• Recent experience in law enforcement or hospital security

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to regular and punctual attendance
