Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare seeks a vigilant Security Officer to safeguard staff, patients, and visitors. This role emphasizes swift response to emergencies and ongoing safety patrols.

You will actively contribute to maintaining a secure healthcare environment by managing parking lots, responding to safety concerns, and conducting essential investigations. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the nursing staff with patient restraints and safety escorts as necessary. Collaboration with the healthcare team is crucial for your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct frequent patrols of internal and external areas

• Report safety hazards and facilitate necessary actions

• Respond promptly to safety and security complaints

• Maintain comprehensive records of incidents and lost items

• Assist with investigations of thefts or trespassing

Requirements:

• Graduate of a recognized Law and Security program

• Must hold a valid Security Guard license

• Current CPR certification required

• Experience in hospital security or police setting

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills required
