HOURLY RATE- $19.52 FULL TIME HOURS WHAT WILL I BE DOING? Resort Dispatchers receive and dispatch emergency related calls via various methods of communication. Dispatchers work to prioritize emergency calls received to ensure Patrollers and Security can respond quickly and have accurate information required to respond to first aid or other emergency situations.
Communicate to first responder team via telephone, radio and email
Receive, evaluate and prioritize incoming first aid and emergency calls
Dispatch calls to Patrollers, Security and outside emergency responders (EMS)
Data entry of incident reports into Microsoft Access
Maintain Patrol and Security logs and related documentation
Conducting and actively take part in the Emergency Services incident follow-up program
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
Strong customer service skills
Able to triage emergency calls based on severity potential and need
Resort knowledge an asset
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access and electronic mail / internet)
Mustbe organized, energetic, and dependable
Able to multi-task in busy setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Clear and pleasant telephone manner
