The Opportunity:

Weneed a Security Guard to join our Security team! You want to be part of our Security team because we help create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone who enters the hospital and play an important role in supportingquality patient care. In this role, you will get to respond to a variety of situations, use your communication and de-escalation skills to assist patient sand visitors, and stay active while supporting different areas throughout the hospital, and much more!

Asthe successful applicant, you will do the following:

• Ensure safety of patients, staff, volunteers, physicians, and visitors
• Ensureprotection of hospital possessions and property
• Performs routine checks of systems and equipment
• Other duties as assigned

• Graduate of a recognized Law and Securityprogram, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• P ossess and maintain a valid Ontario Security Guard License

• Three (3) years’ experience in asecurity role in a healthcare setting
• Non-violent
  
  Crisis Intervention (NVCI) or equivalent
