Operate CCTV and security control room equipment with Securiguard Services while supporting safe campus operations across Barrie, Orillia, and Simcoe. Respond calmly when incidents arise.
As a Tactical Security Guard, you will help protect students, staff, and stakeholders through monitoring, access control, and incident response. Daily duties include enforcing college procedures, identifying hazards, and reporting security breaches. Strong radio communication, discretion, and problem-solving are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor campus CCTV systems continuously
- Operate security control room equipment
- Communicate through two-way radio dispatch
- Manage site access and security concerns
- Respond to security incident calls
- Minimum one year of security experience
- Comfort with CCTV software and radio communication
- Ability to problem solve and use discretion
- Experience de-escalating conflicts and managing crowds
- Ability to stand and walk up to 12 hours
Use control room operations, incident response, and practical judgment to support Securiguard campus security teams in Simcoe County.
