Join Campus Living Centres as a Resident Advisor and make a difference in students' lives. This role focuses on community support, event programming, and student safety.
In this crucial role, you will act as a mentor and guide for students, helping them navigate their college years. The Resident Advisor is responsible for creating an inclusive atmosphere and facilitating educational as well as social events. You'll work closely with other residence staff to resolve conflicts and ensure adherence to community standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate monthly community-building programs and activities
• Enforce Residence Community Living Standards consistently
• Be visible and accessible to residents during scheduled shifts
• Assist in crisis management and conflict resolution
• Provide administrative support and documentation
Requirements:
• Enrolled as a full-time student with a minimum GPA of 65%
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior leadership experience preferred
• Valid First Aid & CPR certification required by employment start
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of resident issues
