Position: Brief Counselling Role at New Path
Become a Brief Counsellor with New Path Youth and Family Services, located in Barrie, Ontario. Focus on impactful youth and family counselling in a part-time temporary role.

In this position, you will provide short-term counselling services to children, youth, and families in home, school, and community settings. Your responsibilities will include assessing needs and collaborating on treatment plans. You'll also serve as a case manager, utilizing a client-centered approach to monitor progress and facilitate connections to local resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct needs assessments for clients and families

• Deliver evidence-based counselling in various environments

• Participate in treatment planning and case conferences

• Offer follow-up services to former clients

• Connect clients to necessary community resources

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W)

• Two years’ experience with youth and families

• Experience with Single Session Counselling

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices

• Valid driver’s license for travel needs
