School-Based Child and Youth Worker

This 10-month permanent relief role runs from September to early July. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team, implementing treatment plans and attending clinical meetings. Your expertise in behavior management for children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, will enhance the therapeutic environment for clients aged 6–12, fostering their academic and personal achievements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage behavior and implement treatment strategies
• Deliver tailored individual and group therapy sessions
• Monitor and document youth progress and needs
• Collaborate with team members for effective treatment delivery
• Advocate for clients within the educational framework
Requirements:
• Child and Youth Worker Diploma mandatory
• Roughly five years of experience in Mental Health
• Valid First Aid/CPR Level C certification required
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and vehicle access required
