This role focuses on assessing patients' needs through comprehensive interviews and history reviews. As a Registered Social Worker, you will develop and implement recovery plans, offer therapeutic group treatments, and ensure compliance with legal and professional standards. Your expertise will support complex cases within an academic and teaching hospital dedicated to mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interview patients and significant others to gather relevant information
• Assess psychosocial strengths using a systems theory approach
• Implement therapeutic recovery plans based on evidence-based practices
• Manage accurate patient records in compliance with standards
• Provide supervision to social work students as needed
Requirements:
• Current registration with Ontario College of Social Workers
• Bachelor’s in Social Work (BSW) required
• Specialized education in recovery-focused practices preferred
• Proven leadership and communication skills required
• Preference for bilingual skills in French and English
