Relief Worker Focused on Youth Support

Empower youth through compassionate care with New Path Youth and Family Services as a Relief Worker in Cookstown. This position addresses significant emotional and social challenges.

In this pivotal role, you'll work as a Relief Worker, supporting youth and families at New Path Youth and Family Services. Through a strengths-based approach, you will collaborate closely with clients to set goals and facilitate treatment in a Live-in Treatment house. The position encourages continuous professional growth and values inclusive practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide intensive 24-hour support in a therapeutic environment

• Engage clients and families through meaningful interactions

• Work collaboratively on treatment goals and outcomes

• Effectively deliver crisis interventions using training methods

• Cultivate a culturally responsive atmosphere

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education related to Child and Youth care

• Minimum two years of relevant experience preferred

• Valid G2 driver’s license and travel willingness

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

• French language abilities considered a plus
