Cedar Heights is actively hiring for Direct Support Professionals across various locations, including Mono, Orangeville, and Markham. Ideal candidates will possess a related degree or diploma and demonstrate experience with neurodivergent individuals.
Your role will revolve around education, behavior support, and community involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site, client-centered support for residents
• Develop and implement life skills and personal development programs
• Assist in educational and recreational activities
• Ensure hygiene and daily living support for clients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Psychology, Sociology, or related fields
• Experience with individuals with disabilities is preferred
• First Aid/CPR certification is required
• Valid G Driver's License and liability insurance
• Strong communication skills in English
