Become a Team Support member at Wasauksing First Nation, contributing to vital shelter and transitional housing services. Support frontline operations and ensure a secure environment for clients.
In this position, you will work closely under the Shelter & Transitional Housing Manager, enhancing the quality of care for clients affected by domestic violence. Your tasks will include managing front desk operations and performing administrative duties, all while being sensitive to cultural needs and maintaining client confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent front desk coverage and client interactions
• Maintain confidentiality of all client data
• Support cleanliness in areas used by staff and residents
• Assist in the organization of supplies and reporting data
• Welcome visitors and support guests in the shelter
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with Anishinaabe culture and social services
• Strong customer service background preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Commitment to obtaining crisis intervention training
