We are presently accepting resumes for a number of summer employment opportunities available in Community Support Services and Accommodation Services (group homes) in Barrie and Orillia. Students enrolled in a related college or university level program will be considered for these positions. Utilizing the Personal Outcome philosophy, students will provide support services to meet the direct care needs of individuals within our programs.

Please note that this position is contingent upon funding approval through the Federal Government Canada Summer Jobs program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Students must be enrolled in the Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, Early Childhood Education, Social Service Worker programs or university level program in Nursing, Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related field.
• Must be returning to school in September.
• Available to work all shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays;
• A valid Class G driver's license and reliable transportation is preferred.
• A Vulnerable Sectors Screening is required. Depending on location assignment, a Broad Record Check may be required.
• The hours of work may require that you are available to work afternoons, evenings, days, overnights, and weekends. The positions are available from April to September and offer up to full-time hours of employment.
