Head Forklift Load Builder

Overview

Our Barrie location is looking for a Head Forklift Load builder
.

• Forklift Operation
• Building loads and overseeing that loads are built accurately and efficiently ahead of delivery schedule
• Accurately identify and count products ensuring loads match the invoices
• Pick hardware for orders
• Receiving Material
• Loading and Unloading Trucks
• Maintaining orderly piles and keeping the yard tidy to prevent hazards
• Safely perform all assigned tasks with sufficient speed and accuracy
• Supporting other yard roles or positions
• Other tasks as assigned
• Prioritize loads to be built to be ready in time for delivery schedule
• Create and maintain all associated documentation in adherence to legislation and organizational policies and procedures
• Ensure safe operations of the yard & warehouse
• Customer Service
• Delegate work to load builders
• Forklift Operator, Propane Fill, First Aid Certified

• Forklift experience
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Building Supply knowledge required
• Customer Focused
• Reliable
• Ability to work in all climates

Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm
