Truck driver; Rama

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Aggregates Truck Driver Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining aggregate trucks and related equipment to transport aggregate to and from job sites. You will work closely with our team of construction professionals to ensure timely delivery of asphalt and safe operation of the equipment. The ideal candidate will have a valid 1 A or 3 A license and prior experience operating heavy machinery in the construction industry.

• Transport aggregate to and from job sites using aggregate haul trucks.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with other members of the construction team to ensure timely and effective delivery of asphalt.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and maintenance.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required Training/
  
  Certifications:
  
  Valid 1 A or 3 A license with clean driving record.

  3 years of relevant experience.
• Additional Requirements:
  
  Prior experience operating heavy machinery in the construction industry, specifically with front end loaders.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the aggregates team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed.
• Compliance with safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved PPE, including respirators; employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests.
