Flex Driver

Responsibilities

Ensure timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, review orders prior to delivery, load and unload vehicle, and provide exceptional customer service to our client base.

Flexible shift opportunities available (minimum and maximum hours, days of work will be determined based on business requirements).

• Post Secondary:
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional accreditation:
  Valid full G license or Class 5 driver’s license.

  Experience:
  
  None required. One year of customer oriented business experience preferred.
• Required learning period: 3 months.
• Bilingual (French and English) required if located in Quebec.
• Technical skills: solid knowledge of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training, ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrence training, ability to lift 70 lbs, some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations is an asset.
• Interpersonal skills:
  Good interpersonal and communication skills, good time management and organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a highly pressured environment.

Shift options:
Monday to Friday, 11:00 am start time;
Saturday – two shifts to choose from 9:40 am or 11:00 am;
Sunday – 8:00 am start time. Flex Driver role allows selection of shifts up to 8 hours in length over a 7‑day period, up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Must have a full valid Class G license (G2 not acceptable).

Hourly wage: 21.09 dollars per hour.

Location:

Barrie (YBN). Must be able to drive a Freightliner P1000; training will be provided.
