Join Badger as a Hydrovac Operator, utilizing high-pressure water and vacuum systems for safe and efficient excavation. Your expertise will support various construction projects while ensuring safety and precision.

As a Hydrovac Operator, you will operate specialized equipment in diverse working conditions, including confined spaces. This role entails driving hydrovac trucks, attending safety meetings, and conducting routine inspections. You will maintain accurate documentation for compliance and prepare work areas to tackle potential hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hydrovac equipment safely in various environments

• Drive hydrovac trucks approximately 10-15% of your time

• Attend and participate in safety meetings regularly

• Perform inspections and minor repairs on equipment

• Set up work areas with necessary safety measures

Requirements:

• Valid 1, 3 or DZ driver’s license with airbrake endorsement

• Preferred safety certifications:
First Aid, Ground Disturbance

• Previous experience with manual transmission vehicles

• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and work in varied conditions

• Willingness to travel up to 25%
