GFL is looking to fill the role of a Recycling Driver who operates collection vehicles on scheduled residential routes in Bracebridge. This position entails ensuring vehicles are safe and functional, collecting recycling/waste, and adhering to all safety practices. Collaboration with team members is critical in boosting service effectiveness while following GFL’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Manual Side-Load or Rear Pack trucks safely
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections
• Perform waste and recycling collection duties
• Utilize hydraulic systems carefully to prevent equipment issues
• Report mechanical and safety concerns without delay
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario DZ licence with a clean driving history
• One year of commercial driving experience preferred
• Proficient in operating collection vehicles
• Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility for work hours
• Fit for safety-sensitive requirements
