Hydrovac Equipment Operator Position

Location: Bradford West Gwillimbury

In this role, you will be responsible for operating hydrovac equipment, ensuring safety in confined spaces, and diligently preparing areas for work. Your routine tasks will include driving hydrovac trucks, conducting safety meetings, and performing minor maintenance on equipment. You will also accurately record compliance paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hydrovac machinery across various job sites

• Drive trucks for hydrovac operations about 10-15% of the time

• Participate in regular safety meetings and training

• Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs of equipment

• Prepare job sites, setting up safety measures

Requirements:

• Hold a valid 1, 3, or DZ license with airbrake endorsement

• Previous experience in hydrovac or related fields preferred

• Comfortable operating manual transmission (10-18 speed) vehicles

• Must be able to lift and manage physical labor

• Willingness to travel as needed up to 25%
