Join the City of Barrie as a Roads Lead Operator in a permanent full-time position. This role requires leadership in managing heavy equipment and municipal infrastructure maintenance. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain municipal stormwater and road infrastructure

• Lead crews in daily operations and maintenance tasks

• Monitor compliance with relevant legislation

• Implement safety protocols at construction sites

• Evaluate performance data for infrastructure improvement

Requirements:

• One year College Certificate in Skilled Trades or equivalent

• Four years experience in municipal infrastructure operations

• Experience leading crews for at least two years

• Valid Ontario Class “D” Driver’s Licence with “Z” endorsement

• Demonstrated knowledge of heavy equipment operations
