Patient Transport Driver - Part Time

Waypoint Centre is looking for a part time Driver to ensure safe transportation for patients and staff. Duties include driving various vehicles, providing courier services, and maintaining vehicle integrity through regular checks. You will assist in compliance with safety policies and help clients with their personal effects. Accurate record-keeping and responsiveness to operational needs are also central parts of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive staff and patients to various locations as needed

• Deliver and pick up small items related to hospital operations

• Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance following guidelines

• Log vehicle usage, fuel, and maintenance records

• Adhere to all safety and health regulations

Requirements:

• Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations

• Experience operating vehicles safely, including vans

• Crisis intervention and excellent interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in written communication for log keeping

• Flexible to meet operational needs and scheduling
