Hazardous Waste Truck Driver Position

Join GFL as a Truck Driver specializing in hazardous waste collection. This full-time contract role involves operating various trucks and ensuring compliance with safety and transport regulations.

GFL is looking for a Truck Driver for a 3-4 month contract to manage the collection of liquid and solid hazardous wastes. You will use different types of trucks while maintaining professionalism and customer satisfaction. Regular communication with supervisors and adherence to government regulations is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Box and Van trailer trucks safely

• Safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous goods

• Complete accurate transport documents, including inspections

• Ensure timely and safe route completion

• Perform driver check-ins at the end of each day

Requirements:

• Minimum High School diploma

• Valid Commercial Driver's License required

• Willingness to work shifts and overtime

• Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic

• Professional demeanor under stress
