As an AZ Shunt Driver, you will support shipping, receiving, and trailer readiness for Reinhart Foods’ food manufacturing operations. Duties include moving products between Barrie and Stayner, securing trailers in the yard, and arranging repairs with vendors. You will also ensure preventative maintenance and annual safety inspections are completed before expiry. The Monday-to-Thursday schedule runs from 2:30PM until 1AM, leaving Friday through Sunday off.
Key Responsibilities:
Secure trailers in the yard
Maintain trailers and coordinate vendor repairs
Ensure preventative maintenance and annual safeties stay current
Follow manufacturing procedures and safety regulations
Keep the work area clean and orderly
Requirements:
Clean driving abstract
Microsoft Outlook skills for email communication
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Proven multitasking and prioritization ability
Use trailer maintenance coordination, yard control, and safety checks to support Reinhart Foods’ Barrie shipping schedule.
