FedEx Seasonal Package Handler Role

Join Fed Ex Canada as a Seasonal Package Handler in Barrie. This temporary position focuses on freight handling and sorting during scheduled night shifts.

We are looking for seasonal package handlers for our Barrie facility. Candidates must work Monday to Friday, from 10:30 PM to 2:30 AM. You’ll engage in vital tasks such as loading and unloading freight while ensuring compliance with Canadian Customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload freight accurately as per protocols

• Scan and sort packages systematically within the facility

• Complete all mandatory and ongoing training requirements

• Manage freight using appropriate equipment safely

• Follow Fed Ex operational guidelines and safety standards

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred

• Ability to lift packages weighing 70 lbs; maneuver up to 150 lbs

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Must work five consecutive shifts without exception

• Bilingual candidates must speak French and English if in Quebec
