Distribution Team Leader - Night Shift

Location: Bradford West Gwillimbury

Become a pivotal force in distribution with Maple Leaf Foods as a Night Shift Distribution Supervisor. Manage a dedicated team responsible for logistics and order fulfillment.

In this essential role, reporting to the Production Manager, you will oversee all aspects of distribution activities during the night shift hours of 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Your responsibilities will include coordinating shipping and receiving tasks along with engaging closely with diverse departments to optimize the supply chain. You will be tasked with ensuring a safe working environment and exemplary team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead night shift operations for shipping and receiving

• Confirm order accuracy and timely deliveries

• Ensure compliance with GMP and FSQA standards

• Maintain effective record-keeping and inventory systems

• Drive productivity and cost management initiatives

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or related experience

• Familiarity with forklifts, dock stockers, and reaches

• Strong knowledge and use of SAP modules

• Leadership in Health and Safety practices

• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
