We are currently seeking an experienced Expeditor to support a major project within a highly regulated engineering environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and documentation, working closely with suppliers, procurement teams, and project stakeholders to maintain project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor supplier progress against purchase orders and delivery schedules.
Expedite materials, equipment, and documentation to meet project milestones.
Identify and escalate potential delays, supporting recovery plans where required.
Liaise with Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Project Teams to ensure effective supply chain coordination.
Track manufacturing, inspection, dispatch, and delivery milestones.
Produce expediting reports and supplier performance updates.
Ensure all quality, certification, and shipping documentation is received on time.
Support supplier visits, audits, and progress inspections where required.

Requirements

Previous experience in an Expeditor, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Logistics role.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working within Engineering, Defence, Nuclear, Infrastructure, or Manufacturing environments is desirable.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is advantageous.
Understanding of supplier performance management, procurement processes, and logistics coordination.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
