We work in highly regulated, technically demanding environments across nuclear, defence, renewables and major infrastructure — delivering projects that genuinely shape the country’s future.
We are now recruiting for a Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of major projects. You’ll work alongside experienced project leaders, helping to coordinate semi‑complex projects and multiple simple work streams, ensuring performance, clarity and control across all aspects of delivery.
Your day‑to‑day might look like- Supporting multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects in line with established frameworks
- Helping manage stakeholder requirements, ensuring clear objectives and acceptance criteria
- Monitoring project performance, risks and issues, and contributing to lessons learned
- Working with Project Controls to maintain accurate schedules, baselines and reporting
- Assisting with compliance, quality, cost and schedule management
- Helping adapt plans and priorities to meet operational challenges
- Contributing to the development of project delivery approaches and toolsets
- Supporting budget, scope and schedule control across assigned work packages
- Assisting with risk mitigation, opportunity identification and change management (including NEC4 processes)
- Degree or professional qualification in Project Management (or equivalent experience)
- Experience supporting the delivery of construction or engineering projects
- Understanding of project management principles, methodologies and best practice
- Exposure to regulated or complex project environments (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
- A proactive, organised approach with a willingness to learn and develop
