Senior Quality Inspector (NDE)
BAE Systems | Barrow-in-Furness
12-Month Contract
£32.65 PAYE or £43.93 Umbrella | Inside IR35
37 Hours per Week
Working Arrangements: 3 On / 4 Off Days - Rate will be increased due to the shift
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Inspector (NDE) to join the Quality team in Barrow.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out quality inspections in line with inspection and test plans
* Conduct NDE and weld inspection activities
* Identify and verify non-conformances
* Complete inspection reports and quality documentation
* Support audits, customer walk-rounds and quality reviews
* Liaise with stakeholders across the business
About You
* Previous Quality Inspection experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
* Experience in NDE and/or weld inspection
* Understanding of ISO
9001 / EN9100 standards
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and procedures
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
* NC/HNC in a relevant technical discipline, or
* Time-served trade background with equivalent experience
