Accountant, Accounting Manager, Accounting & Finance

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a highly reputable, locally owned accountancy firm with a diverse client base across a wide range of local industries.

The firm provides a full suite of services including bookkeeping, accounts preparation, payroll, taxation and advisory services. While you will initially be supported by a Senior Accountant or a Director, you will take ownership of your own workload, manage specific client engagements and act as a key point of contact for day to day client relationships.

This is a role with genuine long?term career progression. The level is flexible depending on experience, with clear scope for the position to develop into a Managerial role and, in time, potentially Director level for the right individual who demonstrates capability, leadership and commitment to the business.

Ideally, candidates will hold a relevant accounting qualification, although those who are qualified by experience will also be considered. A strong understanding of accounting principles and local tax regulations is essential, along with good IT skills, particularly MS Office and ideally Xero.

The scope of the role is broad and will evolve over time, offering increasing responsibility, client exposure and leadership opportunities as you progress within the firm.
