Position: Administrative Assistant, Apprenticeship up to 1 Year- Temporary / Fixed Term

About The Role

You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team where you’ll learn as you go and build real experience in a busy office environment that supports both Direct Payments and wider commissioning and corporate functions.

Day to day, you can expect to be:

  • Helping the Community Care Finance and Direct Payments teams with a range of admin and financial support tasks
  • Supporting the administration of Direct Payments packages
  • Speaking with social workers, personal assistants, care providers, and service users by phone, email, and letter
  • Supporting the setup and administration of care packages
  • Assisting with monitoring information, attendance registers and vacancy lists
  • Supporting DBS administration and workforce communications
  • Helping to process invoices and payments linked to care services
  • Maintaining accurate spreadsheets, databases and records
  • Assisting with basic financial tasks, including raising invoices
  • Supporting provider records, contracts and insurance information
  • Pulling together information and data to help the team make informed decisions

Alongside this, you’ll be learning about the wider responsibilities that come with working in a public service environment, including safeguarding, data protection, equality, and health and safety.
