The Role
Reporting to the Regional Head of Digital Marketing and Client Strategy (APAC), the Client Strategy Manager will be responsible for building up a deep knowledge of the art and luxury auction ecosystem in APAC, its collectors, their collections and their activities, developing relevant and practical client engagement strategies, and help drive client engagement in APAC with Christie’s specialists, client advisors and regional offices.
Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Conduct research and develop deep knowledge of art collectors, their collections and their activities, the art and luxury auction industry in APAC, and draw insights that are relevant to Christie's client engagement efforts in APAC
- Identify high potential consignors and bidders in APAC across Christie's sale categories, and develop client engagement plans with specialist department heads, client advisory team and regional offices
- Analyze data in Christie's databases, files, and catalogues, and draw out key recommendations for Christie's campaigns, consignment and selling efforts among APAC collectors
- Work with specialists and client advisors on client development ideas, debrief them after client meetings and visits, and follow up on opportunities and next steps
- Support specialists and client advisors in client outreach for Christie's global sales
- Organize and conduct client reviews with specialists and client advisors, record meeting minutes and drive action points
- Prepare client transactions analyses and reports for the Regional Head of Client Strategy, highlighting key points and implications, and ensure they are available in a timely manner
- Ensure relevant client and objects information is properly entered, maintained and updated in Christie's databases, and adhering to corporate data governance framework and guidelines
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized University
- At least four-years successful experience in the art, auction, private banking, luxury or management consulting industries
- Good knowledge of the global art and luxury auction industries and collecting trends, and the ecosystem in APAC
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Very strong written, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Very strong ability in managing, analysing and visualizing data
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point
- Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues at all levels of seniority
- Attention to detail and able to prioritise, manage time effectively and work under pressure to tight deadlines, whilst keeping an eye on longer-term projects
- Highly organised and proven ability to multitask
- Flexible team player with demonstrable initiative and creativity
HK420,000 to 500,000 per annum
