As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Administrator to join our Environment and Safety division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Administrator to join our Health and Safety Consultancy team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in administration, along with good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, is essential to thrive in this position.
Responsibilities- Assist colleagues with administrative tasks including formatting health and safety documents, policies and issuing reports
- Support the training team by ensuring handouts are produced and sent to the training venue
- Format training courses in Power Point
- Upload information onto internal and client‑specific portals
- Respond to telephone calls promptly and professionally, take and redirect messages, locate personnel when requested, and deal with customers courteously to strengthen company‑client relationships
- Distribute incoming post, maintain stationery and essential office supplies
- Prepare outgoing post with correct franking for daily collection
- Provide excellent customer service
- Solid administration experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and H&S consultants
- Effective communication skills with both internal teams and external clients, showing flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and working environments
- Strong organisational abilities with proven experience of working within tight deadlines, while maintaining a positive team environment and complying with health and safety regulations
