Our client is an established employee-owned e-commerce business with over 25 years’ experience selling high-quality products online. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Buyer to take ownership of their buying function, shape product strategy, and drive product range development.

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for a commercially focused buying professional to take ownership of the end-to-end product function, balancing strategy with hands-on execution. You will define category direction, source and onboard new brands, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure the product range is profitable, well-managed, and aligned with customer demand.

This role will also involve overseeing forecasting, stock management, and full product lifecycle management, while working closely with marketing and operations to support successful product launches and ongoing performance.

Requirements

The right candidate will:

* Have experience in buying, merchandising, or product management within retail or e-commerce.

* Strong commercial judgement and proven negotiation skills.

* Be confident leading a small team, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and capable of improving processes and driving growth.

* Experience in international sourcing.

* Hold a CIPS qualification.
