Junior Social Media Manager

This freelance role focuses on managing and elevating the online presence for an animation club targeting primary schools in London. The position involves updating and curating website and social media content, integrating new visuals from animators, and showcasing promotional videos and testimonials. You will review and select standout student projects, ensuring only the highest quality work is featured. The role also includes providing constructive feedback to tutors to support children’s creative development and maximize engagement with parents.

The ideal candidate will help shape content strategy, monitor campaign effectiveness, and contribute to long‑term growth by attracting new schools and families.

• Update and refresh website and social media imagery
• Integrate new content from animators and video editors
• Curate and post promotional videos and testimonials
• Review and select exceptional student projects for online sharing
• Provide feedback to tutors on content quality and student work
• Develop and execute a content calendar for regular posting
• Monitor engagement metrics and report on campaign performance
• Suggest improvements for content strategy and campaign efficiency

• Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, Linked In)
• Strong content curation and copywriting skills
• Ability to review creative work and provide constructive feedback
• Familiarity with digital marketing and audience engagement strategies
• Understanding of the education sector and working with children’s content
• Proficiency in basic image and video editing tools
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Based in or familiar with the London education landscape
